The Gnome One

Cantrips announces new album The Gnome One, a ten-track instrumental record drawing on cinematic soul, library music and 1970s-inspired composition. The album is also the soundtrack to an original gnomish heist set within the world of Dune Castle, released alongside a playable Collaborative Storytelling Adventure.
The Gnome One follows a small group of gnomes making their way beneath Dune Castle in search of a forgotten manuscript. Each location on the journey - enclaves, castle chambers and underground caverns - is soundtracked by an original composition, with the ten pieces together forming the score to the adventure.
The album began with place rather than song: each piece was first written as a scene, then sketched on vintage synthesisers before being reinterpreted and tracked live by a full band at Dune Castle.
